Please join us for an afternoon of presentations and discussion about the latest research in long-term care for older adults. We will begin with a presentation by Dr Charlene Chu (University of Toronto), who will talk about the experiences of family caregivers of care home residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will then hear from Norina Gasteiger (University of Manchester) about her work on the use of augmented reality to improve hand hygiene in care homes. Finally, Dr Maria Panagioti (University of Manchester) will speak about how to make transitions between care homes and hospitals safer.
The event is free to attend, and will run in hybrid format (in-person and online). Please register to attend either in-person or online, using the links provided.
