ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop, which is the first of its kind, will bring together young African Statisticians from all over Africa and abroad, including Professional Statisticians and Science Communicators. Issues bordering on collaboration and career opportunities will be discussed.
PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP
> Present talks by African researchers in Africa.
> Showcase what researchers have achieved and plan to achieve.
> Inspire others in the UK and elsewhere to initiate collaboration with researchers in Africa.
HIGHLIGHTS
> Academic talks will come from top African researchers in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Congo, Kenya, UK, USA etc.
> Talks on collaboration opportunities will draw scholars and professionals from MIT, United Nations, African Union, among others.
