As part of the Anthony Burgess Centenary Conference, SALC will host a lecture by Dr Howard Booth (EAC) on Burgess’s time at Manchester on Monday, July 3rd at 5pm in the Arts Lecture Theatre.
The event will also see the announcement of the Centre for New Writing's 2018 Burgess Writer Fellows (in association with IABF and the Manchester Museum) and the installation of a new exhibition about Burgess in Manchester. The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
