Stockport Youth Orchestra returns to Martin Harris Centre for the first time since 2019, in a popular programme which will include Sibelius – Finlandia, Copland - Appalachian Spring (Chamber Version) and Reinecke - Ballade for Flute & Orchestra. The orchestra will be conducted by Tim Crooks and Charlie Perry (both graduates of the University’s music faculty), with soloist Sofia Patterson-Guttierez, a former member of SYO who made the final of BBC Young Musician in 2022.
