A day of exhibitions, workshops, performances and more, taking over the whole gallery!
Join us in celebrating 5 years of MACFEST!
There is something for everyone:
Art Exhibitions, Cultural Hubs and various Art and Creativity Workshops happening throughout the day across the gallery which are free and drop in between 10:30am – 3:30pm.
- Welcome speeches; greetings from partners and Muslim women in different languages.
- Performances by Turkish Folk Dance group, Sudanese School Group, 'Wind of Love', and Dabke by Manchester Arabic School.
- Poetry by Amir Arshad and Lydia Merrill.
- Music by U.K. Sufi Hip Hop Group with Ismael Lea South & Rakin Niass.
- Iranian dress by Sheba Arts
- Art exhibitions and cake cutting.
