The University of Manchester invites local Year 10-13 students to come along to sessions held here on campus, where they have the chance to review workshops, activities, literature and other material.
The Young Person’s Forum is a focus group made up of local Year 10-13 students. You are invited to come along to sessions held here on campus where you have the chance to review workshops, activities, literature and other material. As well as receiving a £10 gift card per session, it is a great opportunity to demonstrate valuable transferable skills, such as communication and teamwork skills and to gain an insight into university life. Taking part in a university focus group will also look great on your CV!
The students are picked up from their school/college and dropped home after the sessions by Mantax, whose drivers are all DBS checked. Please note we can only accept students who live a maximum of 30 minutes’ taxi journey away from the University.
Sessions are informal, and you get the chance to meet other students from the local area too.
