This session examines the role of physical learning environments in student success, challenging the assumption that study space is neutral. Drawing on survey and focus group data from over 150 neurodiverse and neurotypical students, we share evidence and practical strategies for creating sensory-friendly environments that foster focus, belonging and resilience. Join us to learn how intentional environmental design can complement curriculum and pedagogy to foster sustainable student success.
