12-3pm. To complete the Tech Factor Challenge, follow QR code clues to search for examples of technology amongst the Museum’s displays. At each clue in the treasure hunt you will find a person in character to help explain the technology. Look out for the ancient Egyptian mummy, astronaut and polar bear to name a few.
In our Bug Hunt, you can look for "bugs" and "germs" pictures that are hidden around the Museum’s Discovery Centre and learn how to clean your hands like a real doctor or nurse! We'll show you just how hard it is to get your hands sparkling clean and show you the way doctors do it with our amazing UV Germ Gel.
Brought to you by PhD students from The University of Manchester as part of National Science & Engineering Week.
Price: Free, drop-in, all ages (Bug Hunt is suitable for younger children)
