About the event:
Lecture on the 'Use of PET to study inhibition of efflux transporters at the blood-brain barrier to improve brain delivery of drugs', given by Dr Oliver Langer.
Dr Langer is a Senior Scientist at Austrian Institute of Technology in Seibersdorf, which is Austria’s largest non-university research organization. In his research, he uses preclinical and clinical PET to address different questions related to drug disposition and pharmacodynamics with a particular emphasis on studying drug transporters.
The lecture is given under the auspices of the University of Manchester/CRUK & EPSRC Cancer Imaging Centre (Manchester and Cambridge).
This lecture should appeal to students/researchers and staff interested in his research.
