The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP) is a behaviour-change programme in patients who are defined as at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).
These individuals are referred to as having Non-Diabetic Hyperglycaemia (NDH).
We present findings from two sets of analyses evaluating the effectiveness of the DPP at reducing conversion of NDH to T2DM. The first is an analysis using matched cohorts and Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD).
The second, explores the effectiveness of the programme at a national level, using data from the National Diabetes Audit combined with provider sourced data.
