Many international students come to study in the UK with the aim to gain some work experience upon graduation. In order to help students find out more about becoming a teacher in the UK, we are pleased to welcome successful Mandarin teacher Jia Ding to talk about her personal journey of finding a job in the UK. She will describe her experience as a foreign language teacher in a UK school and will give a clearer picture about different training routes that can be taken. So, if you are looking for information on finding employment in the UK through PGCE courses for example, then Jia’s talk about preparing yourself for that type of working environment as a non-native speaker is not to be missed.
