The John Rylands Library and local community dance group Upasana present Colour Alive!
Join us as we celebrate the Library’s exhibition, The Alchemy of Colour, with a spectacular evening of colour and dance. See our beautiful building illuminated with light. Watch as classical Indian dance brings the splendour of the Historic Reading Room to life, with performances inspired by our ancient manuscripts from the Indian subcontinent.
Performances last for 20 minutes each. If you’d like to see everything, the full programme starts at 6pm, 6.40pm, 7.20pm and 8pm. If you’re just dropping in, arrive any time between 6pm and 8pm and a member of staff will direct you to the next performance.
Free entry. No need to book, just turn up.
Recommended 7yrs and above.
Price: Free entry, no need to book
