Free tour of our new exhibition 'Transitions in Print' with curators and specialists from the Library and beyond.
The John Rylands Research Institute and Library has one of the world’s greatest collections of 15th-century printed artefacts, which have been examined by scholars for over 100 years. Over that time, methods and technology have improved and evolved, allowing deeper clarity and understanding. Our exhibition, Transitions in Print, showcases the work of scientists, historians, and imaging specialists who have developed tools and processes to shed new light on these historic documents. The exhibition demonstrates how innovative technologies can be used to explore our earliest printed heritage. Join our specialist speakers on a guided tour of the fascinating materials on display.
