Please join the Critical Global Politics Research Cluster for Charlotte Heath-Kelly (University of Warwick) 'Imperial Boomerang: The Prevent Strategy as Counter-Insurgency Welfare State'.
Dr Charlotte Heath-Kelly is a Reader of Politics at the University of Warwick. Her research focuses on Memorialisation and Post-Disaster Reconstruction, Counter-Radicalisation Policies, Critical Security Studies and Critical Terrorism Studies and Counter-terrorism in the UK & USA. Charlotte has recently been awarded, as primary investigator, 1.5 million Euros by the European Research Council for the project 'Neoliberal Terror: The Radicalisation of Social Policy in Europe'.
