To celebrate our cultural partnership with the Manchester Museum of the University of Manchester, we are inviting you to a sitar recital on Sunday 24 September from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
SOUMYA ADHYA, a well known artist of All India Radio and TV, is a sitar teacher in the Department of Music at the RK MISSION, Kolkata. He will be accompanied on tabla by Subrata Dandapat.
They will present a sitar recital and hold a short discussion on ragas from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Manchester Museum, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9PL.
Entrance is FREE to VHP members. £5 on the door for non members.
Whilst at the museum, please take this opportunity to see the 800 years
old statue of Lord Ganesha which is currently touring the UK.
