This talk will present some initial thoughts on the importance of Logic to understand the different visualisations, and classifications, of knowledge that are found in Giulio Camillo’s (1479-1544) manuscript Theatro della sapientia (Theatre of Knowledge). Oscar aims to shed new light on Camillo’s life, career, and theatre, but also on the larger presupposed tradition of Theatres of Knowledge during the Early Modern Period.
