We will be discussing the current political climate that challenges the development of explicit spatial cohesion agendas in the UK under the new Prime Minister’s intentions to deliver growth in every postcode and how this compare with decades of spatial cohesion policies in the UK and the European Union, now that emerging priorities in security, migrations and public investment pose challenges to national and European budgets.
