Investigate the past through historical maps.

Discover what Manchester was like when it was little more than a village and take jumps through time as it grew right up to discovering which areas the Germans most wanted to destroy in WWII.

Explore why maps are made, who uses them and why they are still useful even when they are out of date.

Suitable for children aged 6 to 12, with an accompanying adult.
