Come and join us for a festive afternoon of shopping and crafting at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre.
It’s the perfect opportunity to browse our extensive gift shop, packed full of brilliant and unique gift ideas including clothing, homewares, books, toys and games. You’ll also be able find out more about our range of telescopes and there’ll be a representative from Celestron on hand to answer your questions, demonstrate how to set up and use a telescope, and provide technical guidance on suitability. -Perfect for any budding young star gazers.
There’ll be mulled wine and mince pies available to buy from the Pavillion café too, and you can extend your visit by joining us on the café terrace for some traditional festive crafting…
Using natural materials collected from our extensive gardens, you can create your own decorative seasonal wreaths to take home with you. Your personal wreath will be based on a traditional willow frame and decorated with your selection of freshly cut, colourful and fragrant berries, cones and evergreens. Children are welcome too and can have fun creating their own willow star.
Wreaths £10, Stars £2, no need to book, and no general admission necessary.
