About the date: 11 March is the first Wednesday after International Women’s Day. All involved in organising the event have invested funds and many hours of unpaid time since October 2019. While we support the UCU strike action, we will not be cancelling or postponing the event. It is being held after university working hours and we are participating as activists and volunteers.
For health and safety regulations, children under the age of 16 will need to be supervised continuously during the event by a guardian/parent and must fill in a risk assessment form at least 72 hours before the event. Please contact heidi@wen.org.uk to request a form.
