The last Labour government and the current Coalition government each set out an agenda on academy schools. This debate will explore views on Academy schools and the Academy school agenda, posing the following questions:
- What is the legacy from the Academy school agenda of the last Labour government?
- How has the academy school agenda of the Coalition government differed and what could its legacy be?
- What recommendations could be made to the next Government about Academy about where we should be going with Academy schools?
