At our Maths and Sciences Teachers Conference, all educators in secondary Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics are invited to find out about researching taking place at The University of Manchester that is relevant to your own professional development. If you want to know what research is happening now in your field, or want an up to date example to illustrate to your students the purpose and application of your subject- then this conference will be of interest to you.
The conferences consist of two consecutive events at which you can engage with the cutting-edge research that takes place at the University. The event's aim is to pass the spark of inspiration from our researchers to you, and then into your classrooms.
One day focuses on maths and physics, the other focuses on biology and chemistry. Both days update you on the latest research taking place and provide tools to integrate new knowledge into your subject teaching.
These events are free; you may choose to come either one or both days, depending on your subject responsibilities and interests
