To celebrate International Women’s Day, the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures is delighted to welcome back four inspirational women graduates to discuss their careers and how they drew on their experiences studying at The University of Manchester.

Representing diverse careers in the media, local and national government, and theatre and the arts, our graduates will offer advice and reflections on how their careers have evolved and take questions from current students.

Panellists: Muneera Lula, Head of Labour Markets Trade Policy and Negotiations at Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Monique Touko is a London based multidisciplinary artist working in theatre, radio and film. She is a theatre director, her most recent show was BLANK by Alice Birch at Rose Bruford and a reading of This Might Not Be It by Sophia Chetin-Leuner at Bush Theatre.

Annie Kehoe, Senior Policy Officer, West Midlands Combined Authority.

Bex Tennenhaus, Senior Content Producer at the BBC and Board Member at Contact Theatre
