Janácek In the Mists
University of Manchester alumnus Tom Hicks presents the last of Prokofiev’s epic ‘War Sonatas’ (No. 8) and Janácek’s impressionistic In the Mists. Both works were written in the first half of the 20th century but evoke very different landscapes.
