Manchester International Roots Orchestra is an ensemble of musicians, poets and rappers from around the world, including refugees. They will be performing in Manchester Museum on Thursday 9 April, a new piece inspired by the Heritage Futures exhibition.
MIRO will explore in the new piece, using song, poetry and spoken word, the uncertainty of living in unsafe places, the transformation undertook by settling in UK and in the end celebrate the cultural diversity.
Are you a budding musician with some stories to share. MIRO would like to invite you to join in the creative workshops to create this piece – find out about the Museum and meet new people.
