Data Treasure Hunt – Behind the scenes of where our everyday information comes from!
As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences, an event at Salford Museum & Art Gallery will explore the secrets behind everyday data. This 90-minute, in-person event includes a treasure hunt game based on modern data tools, led by University of Manchester researchers. It features an introduction, a 50-minute treasure hunt, and a discussion on the game’s relevance to daily life. The event is family-friendly and ideal for young people during half-term. It is led by Prof Richard Kingston, Dr Nourhan Heysham, and the Digital Solutions Programme team from the University of Manchester.
