You are warmly invited to join the upcoming Global Mental Health Webinar titled: Promoting Mental Health through Research and Early Career Researcher Development in Places of Learning and Development in South Africa
Speaker: Prof. Tholene Sodi, Clinical Psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Limpopo
Prof. Sodi will introduce the PreHPare initiative, a contextually relevant programme aimed at improving mental health outcomes in early childhood centres, schools, and tertiary institutions across South Africa. The initiative focuses on implementation research, mentoring early career researchers, developing short learning programmes, and promoting community engagement in mental health.
The webinar will explore key successes, challenges, and lessons learned, particularly in strengthening research capacity and improving mental health delivery in low- and middle-income contexts.
