The first in a series of lectures hosted by the Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers in conjunction with the School of Law's Advocacy and Mooting Society.
We will be speaking to barrister Michael Mansfield QC, one of the most impassioned fighters for human rights and social justice, both in and out of the courtroom. His clients include the Orgreave miners, the victims of the Bloody Sunday massacre, Stephen Lawrence's family and countless others. He will be joined by Marcia Willis Stewart, solicitor with the renowned Birnberg Peirce and Partners. She has recently been representing the family of Mark Duggan.
