The Enterprise Exchange will provide more information about a topic relating to Enterprise or Knowledge Exchange, framed around a ‘Question Time’ style panel discussion.
The event will focus on University Consultancy, and we expect to cover the following topics:
- How consultancy can benefit your career and build towards future industrial collaborations.
- Why consultancy is important for the University in achieving its mission of increasing knowledge exchange and industrial research
- What is the process for putting in place a consultancy contract and what issues need to be considered
- How consultancy work is priced at UoM
- How a REF impact case can be built from consultancy work.
In addition to relevant colleagues form business engagement and finance, the panel will comprise a number of academics with experience of consultancy work to share their experiences.
