Britain’s Sustainable Future: 21st April 1pm – 3pm (For KS5)
This virtual event for your Year 12 pupils will introduce them to the interconnected subjects of Geography, Architecture, Planning and Environmental Management through the theme of sustainability. They will find out how we make sense of our carbon footprints, how an experimental building is helping architects design greener living and work spaces, and how developing more green spaces in our cities can impact wellbeing.
Students from our courses will be on hand to share their experiences and our staff will be there to answer questions on applying to and studying at Manchester.
The event is open to all Year 12 pupils but is specifically targeted to encourage pupils that are from Widening Participation (WP) backgrounds who underrepresented at universities in within the UK. Please share this with pupils you know to be from the following WP backgrounds and encourage them to attend.
Students should sign up to attend individually via this online booking form: https://gck.fm/csltu
