As part of the unique welcome to Manchester, all 8,000 first year students
will complete the Sustainability Challenge on Tuesday 20 September as part
of the University’s Ethical Grand Challenges programme.
Working in small groups with students from all courses, you’ll have a go at
working through a case study based on real life research at the University.
Not only will the challenge allow you to get involved with some real-world
issues around sustainability, but you will build valuable skills, meet lots
of students from across the University and find out more about what
Manchester has to offer.
Look out for more information from your academic School. Your
personalised timetable, available from the Monday of Welcome Week, will tell
you where you’ll be completing the Sustainability Challenge and at what time.
