The University of Manchester is holding an open evening for anyone thinking about a career in teaching. Come along to find out about our PGCEs (Postgraduate Certificates of Education) - ten month courses that enable graduates to train to teach and gain Qualified Teacher Status.
You will be able to speak to course tutors for our primary PGCEs and subject specialists for our secondary PGCEs, including:
• English
• Mathematics
• Science (chemistry, biology, physics and physics with mathematics)
• Modern languages (French, German and Spanish)
• Business education
Our admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions on entry requirements, professional skills tests and subject enhancement courses, as well as information on the bursaries and scholarships available. University of Manchester graduates may also be eligible for an additional £1000 Alumni bursary.
