Join us for an energising, hands-on workshop designed to spark new ideas, build connections, and elevate your digital research journey. is an internal UoM Staff and Student only event

Whether you're already working within the digital space or simply curious about how a digital strand could enrich your research, this event is your chance to explore possibilities, gain inspiration, and connect with like-minded researchers across the University of Manchester.

This workshop is created exclusively for PhD students and Early Career Researchers from the University of Manchester, who are eager to broaden their perspectives, grow their interdisciplinary skill set, and collaborate in a supportive, dynamic environment.

What to Expect

Prepare for a lively mix of activities, insights, and discussions, including:

Funding Opportunities Discover the different funding sources, pathways and advice available to you.

Interdisciplinary Research Insights Hear directly from researchers who have successfully navigated interdisciplinary work and learn how their approaches can inform your own projects.

Mentorship Roundtable Engage with peers in an open, conversational space designed to help you reflect, ask questions, and explore new directions.

World Café: Explore & Elevate Your Research Unpack your research ideas, identify what you need next, and gather fresh perspectives.

Networking Opportunities Build meaningful connections with fellow researchers, spark collaborations, and expand your academic community.
