Join Manchester Urban Institute and Policy@Manchester for an interactive workshop, Writing for Policy.
Designed for early career researchers and postgraduate students working on urban topics, this training will help you develop the skills needed to strengthen policy engagement through your work.
The session offers a practical introduction to key parliamentary functions and processes, with a particular focus on engaging parliamentarians and civil servants on urban issues through policy articles, briefing notes, and written evidence submissions. Participants will also learn how Policy@Manchester can support the dissemination of urban research insights and policy recommendations to relevant policy audiences.
