Learn about the rich heritage of Bengali folk music and efforts to preserve it in the North-West in this interdisciplinary panel discussion on Bangladeshi migration to the region and the importance of music in migrant lives. Join us for a thought-provoking afternoon of songs, memories and discussion with performers, cultural organisations, community elders and academics. The event also includes the screening of a short film called Our Songs.
