Friends of the Whitworth: RNCM Sunday Concerts
Students from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester perform in the Grand Hall.
Friends of the Whitworth present a series of free Sunday Concerts that are open to all. At 3pm on selected Sunday afternoons, students from the Royal Northern College of Music perform in the Whitworth's Grand Hall. Past concerts have included classical flamenco guitar to contemporary flute. There really is something for all tastes and ages. Each concert will last around 45 minutes, and you can feel free to drop in and out. The concerts are arranged entirely by Friends of the Whitworth, click for more info.

Sunday 1 May – Clemence Prudhomme (violin) and Pola Kompf (flute) – classical duo repertoire.
Sunday 15 May – Scarlet Trio (violin, viola and cello) – classical trio repertoire
Sunday 29 May – Sam Rodwell (guitar) and Angela Zamorano Tardon (cello) – classical duo repertoire.
Sunday 3 July – Gravity Percussion Duo – eclectic repertoire.
This concert series is funded by the generous bequest left to the Friends of the Whitworth by Miss Gina Miller.
