Professor Lynda Wyld
Lynda Wyld is Professor of Surgical Oncology at the University of Sheffield and Honorary Consultant Oncoplastic Surgeon at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.
She is a clinical academic with active research interests in the clinical and biological implications of cancer care, psycho oncology, quality of life, equality in cancer care, senescence and senolytics and novel diagnostic technologies.
She has published over 150 peer reviewed papers, 20 journal articles and has supervised numerus doctoral, master’s and Batchelors degree theses. She is the President Elect and secretary of the European Breast Exam board, past president of BASO, past chair of the ESSO Education and training committee and a current member of the ABS board of Trustees.
