Title: Amalgamation in the class of finite nilpotent Lie algebras
Abstract: In this talk, I will present recent work on the model theory of Lie algebras. The class of finite Lie algebras over a finite field equipped with distinguished predicates for a Lazard series (so-called Lazard Lie algebras, or LLA) is a Fraïssé class whose limit has an NSOP4 theory. This new algebraic example of NSOP4 theory admits a stationary independence relation, induced by the notion of a free amalgam of structure. I will present some essential steps in the construction of the free amalgam of finite LLA, and explain how this notion can be used for proving that the theory of the limit is NSOP4. This work is joint with I. Müller, N. Ramsey, and D. Siniora.
