It is with pleasure that I announce the RSC Tilden Prize lecture, which this year will be given by Prof. Ivan Parkin from the School of Chemistry at UCL.
Prof. Parkin received the RSC Tilden prize for: "the development and applications of films in light activated anti-microbial surfaces; self-cleaning glass; solid state oxide gas sensors and the formation of rugged superhydrophobic surfaces.”
This promises to be an excellent lecture with broad appeal. I look forward to seeing you all there.
