When we are criticised we can feel inadequate, hurt, angry, anxious or even defeated and humiliated. We can then withdraw and not feel able to respond effectively to the criticism, or find ourselves ‘attacking back’. These reactions can leave us feeling critical of ourselves and feeling un-confident about facing criticism in the future. In this workshop we will identify constructive ways of managing criticism emotionally and assertively.
