About the event
An E-trial is a clinical trial, where the planning and conduct relies partly or wholly on electronic data sources, including routinely collected healthcare records and/or bespoke data capture applications. Recruitment of participants and intervention delivery may also be conducted electronically.
Audience
The meeting will be of interest to those undertaking applied and methodological research to harness health informatics and electronic data sources to improve the design and conduct of clinical trials, and develop capacity in this area.
