The session will provide an introductory overview of wellbeing at both an individual and team level. We will reflect on what wellbeing means, and in particular what is a well team. We will then look at simple steps that both individuals and teams can take to improve their wellbeing – both in and outside of work. Finally, there will be a brief overview on the wellbeing opportunities available within the University itself.
Attendees will leave the session with an overview of the wellbeing opportunities available to them here at UoM, along with some simple and practical ideas for improving wellbeing.
The Academy for Education and Professional Development’s mission is “To ensure consistent high-quality development and delivery of educational programmes with student experience at their heart”. Academy events are open to all those who contribute to the development, delivery and management of FBMH undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes including staff from across the University, the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre and our NHS clinical education partners. The Pedagogy Seminar Series provides a forum to discuss research undertaken and/or pedagogy literature of interest.
