Join us at our upcoming, on-campus Mathematics Postgraduate Research Open Day, taking place on Wednesday 10 May 2023 in the Alan Turing Building.
Whether you're interested in learning more about what a Maths PhD is really like, you're already looking for a project, supervisor, or funding, or you're ready to apply, you're invited to join us at our Open Day.
What to expect
On arrival at the Alan Turing Building at 2pm, you’re invited to join us for a talk in the Frank Adams Lecture Theatre, where our PGR Director Professor Matthias Heil will talk to you about what's like to be a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics, what funding is available and how to apply.
You’ll then have the opportunity to mingle on the Atrium Bridge, talk to potential supervisors and current PhD students, and ask any questions you've got. Refreshments will be provided.
