At this event you will explore materials science - the study of stuff! At Manchester School of Materials that stuff may be textiles for bulletproof vests, metals for jumbo jets, composites for F1 cars or nanofibres for biomedicine. Studying materials brings together physics, chemistry, maths, engineering and design in a quest to find out how materials behave and how to use or improve them, developing new technology that will enhance your everyday life.
