As the academic sector becomes increasingly competitive, applying for jobs can be difficult to navigate, particularly when expectations are unclear. This practical, supportive online workshop offers early career researchers and PhD students the opportunity to ask questions about applying for academic roles such as Research Associate, Research Fellow and Lecturer.
Hosted by the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE), the session will provide candid guidance on the recruitment process - from deciding whether to apply and preparing a strong application to approaching interviews with greater confidence. The emphasis will be on participants’ questions, with space to discuss the practical issues that matter most to you.
