Development practitioners are facing an unprecedented series of crises as a result of economic, political, and climactic shocks. As development budgets buckle under the strain, such practitioners require fortitude and resilience if they want to make a lasting impact on the world.
At the Global Development Institute, we’ve been pioneering methods to equip development experts with the skills they need to stay resilient in the face of adversity. As part of these efforts, we’re running a series of online communities of practice (CoPs) where practitioners can share concerns, ideas, feelings, and advice about maintaining personal resilience.
Our first session will focus on common challenges and obstacles. If you’ve never attended a CoP before, we’ve put together a helpful guide about what to expect: https://blog.gdi.manchester.ac.uk/why-attend-communities-of-practice/
