Home educators online session: Our changing planet
Wednesday 10th November
10am – 11am
An opportunity for home educated children to join us for one of our popular Online Live school workshops. Our changing planet is all about how human activity is impacting the planet we live on. In this workshop pupils will find out about how we use satellite imaging to monitor changes to the Earth and talk about why we need a variety of plants and animals on the Earth. We will look closely at some plants and animals using a microscope and look closely at the range of wildlife children can find on our biodiversity mat. This workshop is aimed at 7-11 year olds but children of all ages are welcome to participate.
Once you have paid for your ticket you will need to register for the Zoom webinar. Details of how to do this will be sent in your ticket confirmation email. Please note this session was last run in June 2021 as part of the Operation Earth series of workshops.
