Join Centre for Cities in partnership with Policy@Manchester for this online panel discussion on the links between poverty, poor health outcomes and economic inactivity in young people.
This event will focus on worsening inequalities between regions and the impact of rising poverty levels over the previous two decades on young people, and what this means for economic activity. It will ask how we can deliver levelling up for young people, and whether more powers for places can help address inequalities at the local level.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A.
Speakers (with more to be announced):
Andrew Carter, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities (Chair)
Professor Pam Qualter, The University of Manchester
