The Collection Care department share recent successful projects demonstrating with microscopes and explaining how they safely X-ray heritage. Meet conservators who combine skill and historical understanding to keep our collections safe for generations to come.
Join the Heritage Imaging Lab team who look back at the history of photography at the Library and demonstrate techniques used in the scientific investigation of library collections. You will also have the chance to handle some 3D models including cuneiform tablets, offering a unique way to get closer to ancient materials.
