Fancy a magical evening with a bit of a twist?
Come to the Library for a special after-hours viewing of our Magic, Witches & Devils in the Early Modern World exhibition. As night falls, see our exhibition in a new light as it illuminates the roots of our obsession with supernatural power.
In addition to this, we will be demonstrating our fantastic Columbian Printing Press, one of history’s greatest inventions, in action and revealing how it relates to abracadabra and alchemy. You can also delve into our unique assortment of amulets from our Moses Gaster Collection, exploring what compelled people to wear protective amulets for centuries to guard themselves against the evil influences of mischievous powers.
No booking required, just drop in.
